Why is it a fact? Did Tyszu try to make the fight? They talked but the fight was very hard to make with Tyszu being Showtime and Mayweather being a HBO fighter - there was issues on which network would show the fight. Tyszu had 1 more fight on Showtime and would fight another Showtime fighter in Ricky Hatton before facing Delahoya/Mosley/Judah/Mayweather/Gatti Mayweather wanted the winner of Hatton-Tyszu and couldnt get Hatton until now. Hatton admitted to turning him down 5 times. Mayweathers now fighting the man who beat Tyszu. Hes beat Delahoya who has allot more tools than Tyszu, was more dominant at 140 and was equal powerwise but much bigger and a more skilled boxer To say mayweather ducked Tyszu and fought Delahoya and Hatton is a massive stretch.
More bull****. I'll post it when I get a chacne PBF said in a post fight interview that he wanted to fight Zoo. He never ran scared of Zoo quit making **** up.
You don't have a clue do you? PBF is a stylistic nightmare for Ricky. Please learn the sport before posting again.:thumbsup
I wish it worked like that. It would make betting much easier. Any fool that knows anything at all about boxing. I mean with any reasonable knowlege of the sprt would expect Hatton to K.O any particular fighter earlier than Floyd will. Unfortunately boxing is not a k.o contest. It's a boxing contest. If you line up 10 guys for each of them. and let them take turns taking their shot a them. I would pick Ricky Hatton hands down in a K.O contest. I wonder if Hatton goes 12 with De La Hoya at 154 though. Not in his Prime but an Oscar De La Hoya 5 years from now even. I don't think so. And I'm not saying that means anything.
There's a huge difference here. When Floyd goes with the money instead of fighting the likes of Margarito, Tszyu it makes business sense. Tszyu on the other hand. It would make more sense for him to fight Floyd if he thought he had a chance because that would bring much more money in the future. THe thing is when you agree to a fight and you're about your money. It's important what that fight is gonna do for your bank account in the future also. There would never be a business reason to turn down a fight with the recognized p4p best fighter in the world
