And then you try to pull the tight cup and trunks down enough to whip it out and take a leak without pissing all over the front of your kit.

That's a good point. One time the fight that was supposed to be right before mine was canceled because one person didn't show up and they didn't tell us.

Thankfully I was already fully warmed up and my coach told me just to relax through that fight and only get up and do some light shadow if it went to the third round. My opponent was in the ring waiting for for me for a couple minutes and we were putting my headgear on as I walked to the ring lol.

Glad I'm not the only one who goes through trouble pissing when I get my gear on. As soon as I get my foul protector on and start skipping I have to go.

As for my routine to get warmed up....

skip for a few minutes -> good stretch especially for my hips and calfs ->light shadow just to get arms loosened up -> go through some movements with my coach. He stand in front of me and throw a few light punches, I block/slip/roll/step out of the way and counter. Stuff we have been working on ->get my bag gloves on and do a couple rounds of hard pads ->get the fight gloves on and just do some light pads until the fight before mine starts ->relax during the fight before mine. I put my sweater on over my shoulders to stay warm, and when that fight enters the final round I'll get up and move my arms around a little bit.

before i fight i'm constantly pissing and shitting....closer to the fight the more it happends, i hate it...its not a confidence booster constantly shitting before your fight but it happends to everyone...i was talking to my flatmate (medical student) and apparently it's to do with the flight or fight...your body is gettin ready to fight and is getting everythin out the body that you don't need

i don't remember shitting much before a fight but i remember wanting a **** (a lot) and just dribbling.
i boxed on this show in liverpool one night and this other boxer came in the bogs next to me .i asked him who he was boxing and he said my name.so i said "thats me."
he growled something and went without pissing

Sounds like bull**** to me. I know about the fight or flight mechanism, but i highly doubt there's an evolutional advantage to taking a **** whilst running from a bear.

you don't know that much then! flight or fight as in your body is getting rid of anythin it doesn't need, whilst in fight mode your body doesn't need to be digesting food so just flushes out the organs

i'm not the best at explaining it because i was told second hand but it is not bull****, learn some stuff before immediately branding it bs just because you haven't heard of it before

Sounds like whoever told you was full of ****. Do you happen to have a source for this "organ flushing"?
