:huh Offering either of those such a huge sum, when a victory over either at present would do little for Porter, is baffling. GBP (Porter's promoters) would lose big-time on the fight.. And a victory for Shawn would not propel him to any type of "money back" super fight.
didn't the ibf call for bradley v porter when khan rejected the bradley fight? I assume it was bradley...
I doubt Tim Bradley rejects $2 million to fight Porter (unless he has a better offer brewing). One look at Bradley's resume tells you that he is a guy who doesn't duck tough fights. That said, Bradley is IBF number 3 and Porter is number 6 (with Frankie Gavin somehow number 5!!!) so Bradley-Porter could have been an IBF final eliminator (since Khan, the number 4 isn't interested in a Brook fight at present). :think Someone mentioned in the previous thread that it was (possibly) a Haymon fighter? Bradley is still with Uncle Bob, so if it was indeed a Haymon fighter that rules "Desert Storm" out. Rico S claimed in the previous thread that it "Reeked of Khan" and I am inclined to agree.
Porters camp wouldnt try and put one over thurman there friendly ken even trained keoth when he was younger. Not sure about his injury but I think he is ready for a fight. Its a tight fight for thurman and mauybe hhes holding out for a floyd/pac fight
Bradley should have been in a few fights now i wonder what the story is with him, khan, brook, gavin, porter have all been talked about recently. He is fair unlucky if they all pulled out
