Something I'm noticing about Holyfield's title defenses compared to Bowe and Lewis'

Be a hero, building argument because @NoNeck is making a lot of sense - I am the last guy to underrate Holyfield but he is spitting some truth here.

Could you make a thread on that? I’d be interested. I can’t think of many HW’s with a better 6 fight streak then AJ, AJ, DDD, Fury, Fury, DDD those are all credible fighters and the best in the division when it happened - minus Parker but Parker is next probably… then if he gets Agit Kabeyel and Moses… aw man, that’s a pipe dream doe I don’t think we’ll get all those fights. But if you don’t wanna make the thread I’d like to, just to see what’s said.

I don’t think he got lucky with Holyfield and his heart condition that just conveniently disappeared… Holy got beat then he had a rematch 3 years later against someone in a Moorer costume lol.

You can do the thread, but I think Usyk is pretty far out in first. I’m sure posters will try to criminally underrate Fury and Joshua but it’ll be see through.

He almost died after the fight so I’m pretty sure his condition affected his performance, but it was self afflicted from PEDs which is far worse than just being out of shape.

And I’ll put Usyk ahead of Holyfield if he beats any two of the three between Parker, Kabayel, and Hegovic. The only reason I still have Holyfield in front is because I like some of his nontitle wins.

Evan Fields’ career will always be suspect. We don’t know when he began juicing but he always had a bodybuilder physique for as long as I can remember.

He went from weighing in at 187 against Qawi, suggesting he didn’t drain, to weighing 210 for Thomas in about two years. He was 217 when he beat Bowe.
