I still think something is fishy! Kelly has a "staph infection" that was not really an infection, they were just looking for an infection. He has a cut that had a small skin graft, but it's healed, and yet he can't get cleared to fight. Which hand? What Doctor? How much time did the doctor say he needs?

And, the same day this news surfaced we found out Abraham/Lorenzo is off too!

    Fishy I tell ya!

Well, he had stated he wanted a break, but this? Just not sure. Someone in his camp confirmed he did have a doctor's appt...

Why would he want the summer off though? I mean if he doesn't fight til September then that's a REALLY REALLY long lay off especially by Pavlik standards. If the idea is to say, completely take off the summer and then come back and fight Abraham in the fall then that's pretty risky IMO.

In the latest hoemtown newspaper article it says,

But Pavlik’s camp, when contacted Saturday to elaborate on how Pavlik cut his hand that led to the staph infection, refused to make any comments.

“No comment,” said Jack Loew, Pavlik’s trainer, while Pavlik and his father, Mike Pavlik, and also Dunkin did not return phone calls that sought elaboration on the nature of Pavlik’s injury — and also if the injury, in fact, was the main reason for the postponement.

John D’Altorio, the Team Pavlik media relations director, also declined comment.

hmm..maybe the summer off rumblings are true.

Which is why Bob Arum is turning and running as far away from this fight as humanly possible? I mean Amirite? Amirite?

Mora doesnt stand a chance anyways. Pavlik would murder him. If Mora wants to fight, maybe him and Duddy can have a Irish/Latin show down, with the winner to take on someone along the lines of, hell iono, Forest or Taylor.

Ya know Mora vs Duddy would probably be a nice under card addition to some show.

I got a kick out of what Kelly said about AA on OTG the other week. He said; "That peek-a-boo style and them wide looping shots create a lot of vulnerability." ****er must be readin' my posts on ESB!:yep
