    UPDATE 12/5/2009

Rumors leaking from the Pavlik camp suggest that Pavlik in reality suffers from 'Rex Abrahamensis', a very rare disease affecting the patient's immune system, causing sudden panic attacks, fear in the dark and diarrhea. The unnamed source suggests that Kelly got the disease either when he was sitting on the cold throne for too long without doing anything affecting his pulse, or when he, promoter Bob Arum and trainer Jack Loew were doing some cherryty work picking rotten fruits from a very weak tree. The accident probably happened when Kelly, following his trainers advice to double up on the picking with the left hand, left himself wide open, and a short but very strong branch caught him right on the face and the middleweight boxer immediately fell down. An eye witness counted ten before the trainer helped the professional fighter up.

Mike Pavlik, the Youngstown fighter's father immediately pulled Kelly out from the cherryty work. The family doctor said the treatment for this disease is simple: duck under these dangerous and strong branches, avoid contact with with foreign substances, especially Armenian plants and carefully pick fruits, slowly and one at a time.

What the **** is "cherryty work?" Is this unnamed source ******ed? It's not a good idea to spread bull**** like this without a credible source.

That's pretty funny -- but sometimes "truth is stranger than fiction."

How many Pavlik victims are looking for a rematch? Make me a list.

    He was dead serious:patsch

I thought Simon won 4 rounds. If that version of AA fought Pav, it would go about 5 rounds before they had to haul Arthur out of a stretcher.

If the Pav who fought the mexican freddy mercury took on the Abraham who took on Simon....well it'd be a pretty close fight.

Nope -- I disagree. Completely different styles, and Pav backed off and let Rubio go 3 times in the first 3 rounds.

Rest assured that KP did have a cut on his hand and indeed had a problem w/ staph How he got it is irrelavent to me and I don't know. KP walks around between 172-175 lbs. so don't worry too much about not getting back to 160, he'll be fine. A fall fight is likely, but who ????

The point remains the same. Both fighters looked shitty in their last fights. Hence the need to GET this done as soon as possible. Pavlik let a guppy like Rubio survive while ooking lethargic and Abraham put on a weight drained unmotivated performance against Simon.
