Yep, I never seen him so confidents since the Barrera fight, in which he too was the under underdog.

I just placed a $500 bet on Floyd but I could very well be the happiest loser tomorrow.:happy

This is a massive long shot...but does anyone think MAYBE Floyd is actng a little weird because he cut weight for this fight?

I mean, he hired two trainers to help him build muscle...if he's into that, then he must have also hired them to help manage the weight cut.

Could just be this is his first time really being dehydrated at a weigh in...that would **** someone off and make them act unlike themselves.

It's so good to have fresh eyes, especially with a keen intuitive sense, we all see the same things but the perception that develops is based on our biases, as well as that whole axiom of don't read too much into the stare down, etc, and other thoughts from past weigh ins, I agree with your gf, especially the robotic part. I think as soon as they enter the ring, there's not gonna be fear by either dudes, but back to the calm, fury, they are used too intween the ropes.
I think both are gonna be relieved once it finally starts. I Really can't imagine the pressure they both have to deal with at this moment.

Yeah Floyd looked robotic, very self conscious due to nerves.

Ha ha... Manny may not win, but I'm so impressed how he's dealt with and treated this entire event. He's been like a cartoon character during the entire build up. To let all that pressure, and bask in the spotlight of this entire thing, it's impressive.

Well a big part is...Floyd's beat mentally already and he's not use to no one showing THAT much self confidence in a fight with him!

Of course Floyd is scared ****tless, he has EVERYTHING to lose and Manny has very little to lose. This reminds me so much of Tyson V Holyfield...a lot of the same eerie feelings.

Of 40 great boxing ****ysts, only 1 picked Holyfield. They all said he looked done and shot. The 1 ****yst said Holyfield is playing with house money and has nothing to lose just like Manny.

Mike had everything to lose, I dont buy for a minute that he wasnt training properly, that's all garbage. He just wasnt the same Mike from years ago neither is Floyd.

I dunno why, I just see Manny stealing this fight. Not winning dominatingly but stealing it.

Perhaps, but my thing is, he's acted like that in all press conferences.

l think Floyd is using the 'fight sells itself' as an excuse tbh.

He looked very nervous and also surprised at Pacs behaviour to me. Could be wrong though

It may be a strategy to sell more PPVs. It's like that:
Every single boxing or sports website, magazine or TV is writing how Floyd was scared, intimidated or whatever and how confident Manny was. Now even more people get hyped about how Floyd will lose and he will be knocked out and they want to see it. But Floyd is much more smarter than that, he ain't gonna let the bone so easily. Thats my opinion about it.

"and to try to look as intimidating and as big as possible hence the face off with clothes on. She even pointed out how floyds hat was turned up to make him look even taller."

I tought the exactly same- Floyd not only put a shirt on, but also a suit over the shirt, plus the cap.

    His shoes were padded.
