You will be surprised about what u can and cant do with league contracts.

League contracts aint any different then regular job contracts.

I have signed enough league contracts to know.Mate when i was with the Panthers then over the UK recently i seen way shadier **** go down then sonny up and leaving.Clubs only give a **** about the players when they feel like it.And if they are a real bigname.

Players walk out on contracts all the time with next to no fuss.I did it myself.Told penrith to get ****ed and went to England 12days later.I was only playing flegg and on 20 odd k so no dramas there.

Clubs have players walk out and then they proceed to tell the media ect that they have released them.

I could go on with hundreds of stories but its 1 in the morning so im outta here.

I didnt mean to say anything about what you can and cant do, if anything I was going to ask you about that cause I thought you would know more than anyone here. When I said "cant do that in league" I meant the club cant always just find a high profile player to replace one that walks out but probably less of an issue in other workplaces.

Sonny is one example of a player sorta ****ing a club. There are a ton more examples of the club ****ing the player over, my beloved Sharks seems to be a very bad club for this.

Heard of so many players, some I used to play against just getting promised the world and not even getting Tasmania.

One example, I was talking to a former physio of the Sharks who said just recently there was a player who Ricky and Zappia screwed. The player wasnt really getting a start and got an offer from the Knights for more money. He showed some loyalty went straight to management and said look ill stay over the Knights if you can match it or there abouts. Someone said to him "let us look into it" and came back to him and said " your manager is full of ****, the Knights offer isnt legit, sack him and let us take care of you".
So he did, he did everything right by the club but then they signed a few names and had no room for him, pretty told him bad luck. He ended up going to the Knights for less than the original offer.

Pretty ****en low to do to a kid.

Yeah mate the clubs screwing the players definetly outweighs the players doing likewise.

Kind of laugh when i seen Brett Hodgson on fox Nrl mid season and saying how he doesnt want to go to England he wanted to resign with the Tigers. He is still playing great footy but the Tigers apparently cant afford him. Thanks for your loyalty Brett. Now go to England and hate your time their.

    Poor bugger.

****ing off Kimorley will come back to bite the Sharks, like ****ing off Preston did. Fine if they were going to replace him with a younger, big signing but Trent Barrett? Please.

I agree, and it was a slap in the face of Kimorley, he is one of a best players, and a team leader, i dont understand why they wanted him out at all. It stinks if you ask me.

Sonny Bill Williams still has plenty of options

    1. League in England
    2. Union in England/Ireland
    3. Super 12's in NZ
    4. Super 12's in Australia

He's never coming back to NRL.

But how naive to trust your club over your manager with a decision like that, Pretty hard to get an objective opinion when your talking to the subject.
