Foreman claimed Conney hit harder than Liston.

    But obviously Liston will win.

The obvious favorite should be Liston and probably emphatically. I can't see Gerry winning this unless he won the lottery with something huge and unexpected.

    Yes ****ey has little chance.

You mean Foreman named Lyle ****ey & Williams as the hardest hitters he ever faced so by implcation they hit him harder? I do not recall him ever making a direct comparison.

He also said Liston was the only man to back him up & i think that he had the hardest jab. regardless, just sparring, & with an old Liston, i do not think this iestablishes the liklihood that ****ey hits harder.

Liston in a crushing, first round knockout.

He did indeed make a direct comparison. And Liston was third behind ****ey who he had second.

Of course he only sparred with Sonny.

Liston in one. No contest at all.

C00ney might have hit harder than Liston, but that does not mean that he will be competitive with him!

I'm trying to think of a scenario where Liston looses, and it's very difficult. The only really plausible one is where Liston shows up high, and unprepared. This fight should be over within two or three rounds if they're both at their best.

That being said, I do think this would be a pretty good fight while it lasts.
