There are two things about this forum that I find annoying. One is to use the worst fight of one fighter to project a particular outcome, and the other is to use any fight like it's a blueprint that's carved in stone. Let's take Lewis - Holyfield for example. Detractors of Lewis point out how close the 2nd fight was and that in their opinions Holyfield won that fight. Maybe he did, maybe he never, but the FACT is they fought twice, not just once and you can't gloss over the first fight to support an outcome that's obviously biased. Same as Rahman, They fought twice, not once, which Lewis showed up was the obvious difference. But even the Foreman -Ali fight MAY have been far different in a rematch than it was in Africa. It's not a foregone conclussion that a rematch plays out the same. So I think you have to look at their entire careers if you're trying to project an outcome, and assume both fighters show up at their very best.

I am a huge Foreman fan Heavy_Hands but Foreman will tell you what he wanted to hear. I doubt Liston backed him up period but Foreman did respect him so let him say it. I heard Foreman thinks Holyfield is a dirty fighter so I never heard him give praise to Evander's power even though he did hurt Foreman more than anybody in his comeback. But anyway who did Liston ever push back with his jab who was as big as Lewis?
