Lennie Mancini was an very good fighter, but probably just shot of Championship class, Ray for brief periods clearly was Championship class.
This might be a controversial pick, but I'll have to say Sir Bert Cooper was at least a little better than his father Sir Henry Cooper. I think the Orlin Norris win might be the best Heavyweight victory of the 90s; considering Tyson's shameless ducking of both men should have been for the real Heavyweight Title. The past prime Joe Savage destruction puts him over the top.
plenty of great fighters had fathers who boxed some..i mean when the father actually won a title..and the son ended up being even greater... it seems to be a very rare thing.
