Nuh uh, had he avoided Maidana, he'd have been stripped of his title. Maidana took step aside money/HBO contract from goldenboy, and Khan has called him out, so lets see if he's willing to throw his ht in the ring, seeing as he's been complaining of a rather fictitious sounding back injury for the scrapped Bradley fight, he sounds like the guy who's doing the ducking.

Most people had him winning by about six rounds. To suggest the fight was close is ridiculous.

Even the Godly Roach couldn't teach Frankenstein to foxtrot.

Did he (Maidana) or did he not pass on the option? If Khan had avoided Maidana he would have been stripped

Whatever has been said about Khan Maidana it has certainly created abuzz about the place. Who wins? It doesnt matter to me although personally i prefer the knockout artists to the skilled.
Thats all im interested in. They make fights exciting because at any time the fight can end.
Thats what got me following this sport, 30 yrs ive watched it and the KO artists rein surpreme.
However technical or however fast the jab can be - its bollocks.
I`m a fan and i want to see the KO. Perhaps thats why my favourite boxers are Tyson, Benn, Hagler, Hearns, Jones, Pac, Hatton etc, they all knocked out.
He might outbox Maidana all night long, in fact he will, but all Maidana needs is to land flush on that chin.
Khan needs to be lucky for every rd while Maidana needs to be lucky i imagine only once. It should make for a great fight and not the 1 sided contest some fans thinks it will be.

Nothing rattled Calzaghe didnt matter how hard he got hit. In fact he woke up when floored. He comes bk tho it`ll be a freakin disgrace.

No offence but the sport is called boxing, not KO'ing. I would much prefer to watch a master like Whittaker than a one trick pony like Maidana.

At what point did i call the sport KO`ing?
Dont patronize ice, theres no call for that ****!
Like i said i`m fan of the sport not a coach, i couldnt care less about defensive fighters who counter and spoil.
I know for a fact ppl didnt pay to watch Mayweather beat Mosley in a defensive style, they payed top dollars to hopefully see Mayweather knocked out.

Comparing Maidana to Tyson, Benn, Hagler and co. :rofl. I think you need to watch those fighters and notice that they werent just 'KO artists', they could actually box and had mad skills. Do you think tyson would have been so succesful without his famous bob and weave? Would pac be where he is today without those amazing feet? Would jones have dominated without reflexes? The type of power punchers or 'KO artists' you seem to prefer are ATG's who also have power, not just fighters who can crack. Maidana is not an ATG and probably never will be. What he is, is someone who can crack but if he doesnt land, hes toast.

LMAO ive just seen the punch zone stats for Malignaggi Khan. Malignaggi only landed 1 punch to the chin the whole fight, but no doubt some amongst us think that would be enough.

    :roflNo **** sherlock.
Theres more chance me winning the lottery than Maidana becomming an atg...i like his attitude doesnt mean i compare him with legends. Am i not supposed to like Maidana btw bc his lack of skill in the ring?? People will hate no matter what he does.
