No one cares what you, swedeone or anybody else says. The WBC said Vitali gets the next shot so there you go! :good
Exactly the way I see it too but that doesn't matter. The WBC said it so it's the way it is. All this bitchin' & cryin' about Vitali getting a shot sounds lame anyway. Who should get one first? McCall? Holyfield? Briggs? Gimme a ****in' break.................:rofl
I agree, I would be very surprised if Vitali is able to make it all the way through training camp injury free to fight for a title sometime next year.
If that's your logic then fighters who were stripped of their belts by their sanctioning bodies deserve direct title shots immediately as well and this should be the case regardless of positive/negative standing in said organization's view. If you don't lose your title in the ring then u should immediately get another shot regardless of whether u ran afoul of that org's rules or not. If a 3-year layoff with no fights can yield a title fight then an organization should certainly be willing to forgive a fighter for whatever reason he gave them to strip him.
The other thing is that even if he did manage to make it to a title fight, and to win it: do we want a WBC champ who's unlikely to manage to make any defences of that title? Given that he hasn't managed a fight in three years?
very good point, the heavywieght division has been suffering enough with all these euros backing out of fights recently. Guys like Peter, and Iggy are the only ones defending there titles on time anymore.
If Vitali is delusion, then that means that the WBC is really, REALLY delusional. And we all know THAT isn't the case, right. :yep
I agree with that 100% but it's not like that really matters. All that really matters is that they granted it & now they have to honor it. Hopefully, they've learned their lesson, but not likely :-(
You do know Peter doesn't have a title right. He has an interim paper belt that he won by doing absolutely nothing.
