So you agree his resume is far from ATG status, thats all I'm trying to say here that he is no where near as good as his biggest fans say.

Once again, I'll ask you to compare Hopkins's resume.

I don't think his resume is all that weak ...

If anything he's the product of a weak division but thats no different from Hopkins.

Hopkins dominated a weak division as well and the names on his resume (as far as victories) aren't that different from Calzaghe's.

He has 4 big name victories on his resume (Tito, Oscar, Tarver, and Wright)
Calzaghe has (Eubanks, Kessler, Hopkins, and Mitchell)

    Probably because Calzaghe's only 36.

Kessler is better than anyone Hopkins has ever beaten.

No meaning level of competition after age forty blows calzahge whole career away. Taylor, tarver, wright. only losses still contraversal to this day. I'm not a hopkins hugger but his only loss that can't be argued is from roy jones in his prime when hopkins was no where near his prime.

No I was comparing and they aren't that different ... there might not be a DLH or a Tito on his resume but there are some solid guys on his resume and he did just beat Hopkins.

I'm not the biggest Calzaghe fan but I do know that what he's done grants some respect.

Its very hard to do what he's done and not get upset ...

So you think Oscar would beat Kessler in a fight at MW or SMW? What exactly did Oscar achieve at MW other than to get a boxing lesson from Felix Sturm to make you think that?

agreed he has done a marvelous job but is he and ATG like his fans say, and his he worthy of ppf status.( I think he's worthy of ppf status but lacking a great win vs great competition)

Niether Oscar nor Tito did anything significant at MW ... the majority of the guys that Calzaghe beat accomplished something at that level ... I can admit that alot of them were fillers but so were most of the guys on Hopkins level.

And Calzaghe has more defenses ... and he became the undisputed champion last year.

THe oscar fight was just a money fight, I don'nt give any middle weight much credit for beating oscar delahoya. It was all about business.
