Direct quote from Froch in boxing news: "Groves was my mandatory and my promoter Eddie Hearn wanted me to vacate the IBF title. If we could have confirmed a third fight with Kessler I'd have vacated, but we couldn't do that until the new year." also another quote about Groves if you want your stomach turned. "I beat him in round nine by technical knockout when the referee saw Groves wasn't fit to continue. That's fact, it's in the history books." So it sounds to me like they have just finalized a third Kessler fight. I guess this is the only PPV fight that they could make that Froch is willing to take.

Kessler has retired to raise his family. He is fat (by his standards, fitter than most of us still) and happy and growing a beard.

Ward and Groves have called out Froch,if he doesn't take either he can't be called a warrior who ducks no one

Not fat hasn't said he's retired. It sounds like Froch has let it slip here and now I think about it, it's the easiet fight to make that's sellable. I'm surprised they didn't try to make the Bika fight but heard no noise about that.

He said all throughout his career he would retire the moment he became a dad. He is one.

...and yeah, compared to between camps when he was active he does have a bit of well-fed jowl going on under the new whiskers. :yep

Kessler has not said he's retired, even directly after the Froch fight they asked him about a third fight and he said maybe in Ireland this time or something to that effect, this was when his baby was due. Kessler doesn't look fat either. Froch's direct quote was: "If we could have could confirmed a third fight with Kessler I'd have vacated, but we couldn't do that UNTIL THE NEW YEAR." what do you think that means? Coz my guess is they have thrown enough money at Kessler because casuals will buy it and it will be easy to make.

Froch basically wants to have a slugfest

He wants no part of Ward or Groves

Which is fair enough....as long as he never mentions Ward or Groves in a sentence again

lets all agree froch has been fun to watch in the ring, outside the ring he is a disaster he should retire unless he tries for another belt why he doesn't want to fight bika is beyond me if he is still fighting for the money and not the honours his performances will reflect that even more

I respect Froch greatly as a fighter.........with the flaws he had....he has achieved a lot

It's when he opens his mouth that it all falls apart

Said it before, will say it again. Shithouse of a man. (Froch, not Kessler).

No way can they sell a third Kessler fight. Only one fight the British public want to see.

Froch should go to Denmark to face Kessler. First fight was part of the Super-Six, second Kessler came to UK so Froch should return the favour if there is a third fight.
