    Supposedly Peter McDonagh dropped Khan in sparring a few years ago round about the time Khan was fighting limond and Gomez

    Im sure Ricky knows who knocked him down better than anyone. Maybe you took a day off that day or popped to the toilet or something?

    Pat Barrett floored Ricky with a body shot and that according to Ricky is why he started body punching himself as it hurt that much.

    Maybe Reid was later Arnie ?

    Not sure about the Khan-Benavidez sparring sessions, but I remember reading this about it. (lifted from Jose's website, josebenavidez.com, not sure how official it is.):

    Benavidez admits. “The camp went great, because at first, they didn’t want me to spar Amir because they kind of thought he was going to hurt me. He’s a really fast guy, but I caught on to his speed and what he did. He’s also a real cool guy. His dad and brothers, too. It was pleasure working with him.”

    “They were dead even,” opined Roach in a recent interview regarding the sparring sessions. Now young Jose finds himself in the middle of tackling a new assignment—sparring yet another light-welterweight world titlist.

    And that's why he's training for the Barker fight at the Wild Card Gym. Half the stories here are utter bollox.

    That was true in sparring before the Buster Douglas fight.
