You Really can't be serious??? A lot, Pacquiao was fighting as a fly weight at a young age, dlh was fighting at 135 at a young age Trinidad was fighting at 140 at sometime Roy Jones was fighting at 154 and the list goes on... I guess they all are weight bullies??
I don't think so, if he beat him fair & square how could anyone? So far Spence is a pretty straight forward guy, nothing dodgy about his fights...whereas canelo thats a whole different story. Which is a shame as there is no doubt about it he is an exceptional talented fighter...Its just O)scar is so precious about him!
I think Spence is very good but I also believe he is taking advantage of weight draining. Since we haven't seen him fight above 147 I can't say with any certainty how he would do at 160.
GGG's 37, there really should be someone in the lower weights capable of beating him, or at least having a go. Such a shame he didn't get his career defining fights until he was at an age where, not many years ago, he'd have been considered way past it
Isn't this true of every fan base? If 38 yo beats Spence then we are going to hear all about the weight class. There were so many people on here saying 'Rigo's gonna break Loma's jaw' and in the aftermath 'Loma's a weight bully'. Like I said there are some fans who can't accept their man getting beat regardless of who that fighter is.
I'm all for taking GGG off his fanboy generated pedestal, but let's not get crazy here. GGG is a perfectly fine fighter and isn't some Slappy that the latest hypejob/pushed guy is going to mow over even at age 37. I think by about Round 3, Spence would be wriggling his nose and wishing he was rematching Porter. And I'm certainly no raging mark for GGG either.
The last time Spence stopped anyone at 147 it was Ocampo. Does anyone even remember him? He did not stop or hurt a 140 pound Mikey Garcia and he was never close to stopping Porter. So I don't know how anyone would think he would go up a weight division and stop anyone. This is not anti-Spence but reality. Spence's downfall is that he does NOT have better than average power at WW. Can he hit hard enough to keep Crawford honest? Can he hit hard enough to keep GGG honest at 154? The results of last two years would say NO.
