Is ths the same guy who gave up even trying after 5 or 6 rounds against feather fisted eubank?

If so, wow what a great match up. I'll pay absolutely any amount for a ticket to this once in a lifetime mega event

Ya'll want Golovkin to kill himself against tough opposition while Canelo rests for the rematch due to testing positive?!! LMFAO. Gennady needs to fight the biggest bums until the canelo fight.

I would prefer the Saunders fight as well, even if they had to push back a month or two. They're not going to find anyone above jobber level that quick. It's basically like the situation in Rocky come to life.

They can still make Canelo II later in the year. Why should GGG risking this big money fight? In the end, boxing is his job.

The only problem is why wouldn't he leave the belts alone? Then he would be free to fight whoever he wants for money.

You do know win or lose in may, spike was going to be Alvarez's opponent for September!

I remember Spike fighting in Cork.

Glad to see him get a pay day, but hes getting wrecked here.

I’m disappointed but I can understand the idea behind that. He needs to stay active. I’d like to see him against Derevyachenko, hell, as unlikely as it was, kinda hoped for Ramirez fight even but he needs to get in the ring and get to work.
I have no illusions about this fight being anything competitive let alone ppv-worth event but he better make up for this with his next fight.

Who were Wilder’s replacements when Povetkin and Ortiz tested positive first time around?

Canelo has withdrawn from the fight, it looks like Spike is next.

Well this is Canelo's fault. Besides GGG would need a TKO to win, because the judges will be equally as bad in favor of Canelo.

O' Sullivan is ranked in Ring Magazine's top ten, not a bad sub on short notice.
