People will turn this into a thread about the second one because they know Spinks easy won the first one. There's no debate. Clear UD.

I don't think there is much debate on who won either fight. As a Holmes fan I wanted him to win the first Spinks fight. On second viewing of Holmes vs Spinks 1, I was looking for a draw, and even than I had Spinks the winner via narrow margin. Fair is fair.

However, Holmes won the second fight by a greater margin than Spinks won the first fight. The second fight between the two was robbery.

Questions to the board. If Holmes was correctly given the decision in the second fight, he wins back the title. Who would he fight next?

    Thomas, Biggs, Douglas, or Bruno?

Thomas would be best placed to earn a shot from those you mentioned.

    9-6 Spinks.

I had the rematch the same score, but for Larry.

He ducked pinklon in 1984-85 So I doubt he fights him in 1986........I suspect holmes would be forced to fight tyson in 86 and would be brutally knocked out.

I remember having Spinks winning by 1 point....

That second fight was just rediculous, Larry redeemed himself in what i call a solid victory........
