    And how does one in london get to their work whilst social distancing?? Clearly u have no idea what public transport is like between 8-10 and 4-6 is major uk cities.     This an idea of what it was like the day after boris said those who can work should go to work.

    Not saying that isn't the case. My point was it was pretty clear what he was saying. I work in soho and travel just outside of rush hour from essex and have pretty much a full carridge to myself for the whole journey, including the usually packed central line.

    The train companies do need to add more trains back into the schedule now. The main tube lines are every 10 minutes. That would help IF people who can work from home still work from home.

    Shouldn't you be complaining to the Mayors office? I thought he has full control of transport in London?
