Opend up after boxing so well for round after round. Shouldve kept it tight and boxed as he had been.
A lucky finish and I'm sorry but Harrison is poncing around as though he's just dominated the fight and planned that finish. A very lucky win in my opinion. He did nothing for much of the fight and Sprott got caught. Any decent heavyweight would have finished Harrison by the halfway stage tonight.
OH MY GOD!!! where did Audley find that from!!!! KO of the year contender! WOOOOW!!!!! why oh why does he not use his tools all the time?????
I'm actually gonna give Audley some credit. people said he had no heart and that he can't fight, but he took some shots in there and didn't quit. I think he proved a few people wrong. In another sense he is the most frustrating fighter ever! he has that kinda finish in him, but I dunno, he just waits and waits, and doesn't work. That was one brutal KO though, sickening. He put EVERYTHING into that shot, hehe. I know he was saving something but it looked like it wouldn't come. Patchy performance, far from world class, but great finish. One just wonders, if he was able to switch himself on from start to finish and really let go with punches, how good he could have been.
Yes Sprott went out looking for the big finish had he not he wouldnt of got caught by that, granted, great shot. Think Ashley Sexton shot earlier in the year was a better shot imo but doesnt have the consequences
Funny thing is, that seemed like the right approach, in the main. In case Audley had any hopes of opening up, get him right on the back foot with a big barrage instead. Problem is that Sprott kept it up for like a minute solid and ended up out of puff. Had to do some defensive work, tried to fire a shot off the ropes rather than clinch up or cover and was interrupted conclusively by that monster left. You've gotta love boxing. I don't know where he got it from, but from retirement to European Champion with one punch. That's why we love it!
Audley knew exactly what was going to happen. He was waiting until the final round when he decided he was going to knock Sprott out. It's all about making exciting fights for Audley. He even pretended he'd hurt his right arm because tomorrow, to celebrate, Audley's spending all day in front of PornTube. He didn't want to tire his wank fist out. That's just how good Audley is. Fact.
A remarkable error by Sprott. But that's why he's a decently talented gatekeeper, a solid journeyman if you will and not close to being a top tier boxer. That's why he's been stopped eight times.
Gutted for Sprott. He fought like a lion but let himself down. Horrible thing to happen to the guy. Hopefully he gets a crack at another title.
As soon as he went after Harrison I was thinking what the **** is he doing. But as people have said already a top tier boxer wouldn't get caught like that but there you go, credit where credit is due great shot by Audley and up to that point Michael thought a good fight and was way ahead.
I wonder how his head trainer is feeling after everything was going so right? I remember his words to Sprott included "If he has a pop at you, go right back at him. 3 minutes. He doesn't have it in him."
