i had it back and fourth for the first 6 rounds but only becuase of the jab of sprott gave sprott 3 rounds
I had it 119-109 Skelton. I cannot believe how staggeringly inept two of those judges were. I think the 117-113 was generous as it was...how in the name of Bonaparte's balls do you give Sprott 6 rounds? I thought he didn't even win 6 minutes.
I ****ing hate the british HW's!!:fire A world title fight for the winner? ahahahahahaha That fight was a joke and these domestic HW fights are a farce.
Ian John Lewis is an arse. How he could score the fight 114-114 a draw is beyond me.He was either wearing shades or looking at the wrong bout.As for Sprott he reaffirmed what iv thought of him.His nothing more than a journeyman with a journeymans mentality. He simply turned up as a sparring partner and paced himself for 12 rounds as he`d clearly done zero cardio and didnt want to get manhandled again by Skelton like he did in there 1st bout.I mean the guy was running round the ring like it was track meet! Throughly pathetic and grossly inconsistent. As i said before his win over Audley although a decent win meant very little in the grand scheme of things.
It was him, was it? Christ on a bike, that was terrible...does he own shares in Sprott or something? And who was the slightly less deranged lunatic that scored it 115-114?
I think Skelton might get a shot at a Chagaev or Ibragimov. Altho, I've seen no evidence to suggest he could beat either.
back and fourth in 6 rounds it was sprott first then skelton then skelton then sprott then skelton then sprott and then all skelton...sprotts jab on the outside was good and it kept him at bay but these were by tiny margines but nice on the comment:good
I cant even remember.Ians score for stuck out by a mile. His a **** ref anyway.Boxing needs a red/yellow card rule.If the action lulls to badly penalise them and dock there pay as they used to in the old days.If the fight gets really bad then red card by disqualification. That fight was a load of pish.Glad i didnt go.
yeah when sprott is the underdog then he is dangerous virchis, williams, harrison but when he has a fair chance he falls apart. you could tell his left hook wasnt working and his jab was good but gettign countered by another jab from skelton so it was a skelton all the way shockingly bad
Skelton really had Sprott's jab scoped pretty early on, so by the second half of the fight he was slapping a lot of them aside with his glove. When your jab is getting pushed away and your haymakers are getting dodged by Matt f'ing Skelton of all people, you are screwed. Sprott loaded up on the counter and hoped he would get in an Audley Killer, but Skelton was simply too aware and too durable for that limited gameplan. Major disappointment.
Thats because Sprott stayed purposely on the backfoot and only really pawed with the jab to his chest.Every time he threw it and tried to double up his jab fell short and thats why Skelton was able to parry it with ease.He didnt commit to anything in this bout and has done himself a massive injustice with such a passive and dismal performance.
