I loved Nate's speech after the fight. I knew had a huge feeling that he was going to bust out the Rocky IV speech when he started out, I even started saying the "If I can change" part... and when he did I just lost it. Also, when they kept putting the camera back and forth and the crowd kept booing Starnes, and cheering Quarry.
I wasn't sure who he was directing that at but i thought it was like the pot calling the kettle black
I actually watched this fight in its entiriety and it wasnt AS bad as ppl are saying; Quarry was actually quite impressive standing, lots of 1-2 kick, 1-2 kick. Starnes did run like a ***** but it wasnt nothing like as bad as what boxing fans have seen if theyve ever witnessed a Corey Spinks (or even Hopkins EEk!) fight.
even on a judo mat starnes would have been dq for passivity...shocking...only thing more annoying than that on the card for me was travis luter turning up soo out of shape..he is a ****in pro athlete, surely the least he can do is turn up in good enough shape to do the full three rounds......very disrespectful to himself, his fans, his paymasters and the sport...
