Since losing to McDonnell in January, he had a TKO victory in February and is now travelling to Mexico to fight this Saturday for the WBC Youth title against Leo Santa Cruz - 14(6)-0-1. This kid is getting the tough fights under his belt, hope to see more of him.
This is exactly what fighters should be doing by the time McDonnell has his next fight Jamoye will have probably fought 4 times. Amazing in this day and age I really like this Jamoye lad
Good for him. I'm sure he was supposed to be fighting a TBA on the Martinez card as well but it must have fallen through.
Hope they manage lad correctly i was impressed by him and he will ship punishment so don't wanna see lad get wrecked to early. As Wallet said...refreshing to see.
The lad has been fighting decent opposition and his losses have been very close so no shame there. For a 21 year old with 20+ fights he has a very impressive record imo and his willingness to fight away will stand him in good stead

No doubts this kid will be at world level in 3 years time, he has bags of time to learn and he is taking tough fights, fair play.
