You know what you're right, Benn's left hooks were bouncing off Collins' chin because Benn was shot, not because Collins had a granite chin :patsch Let me get this straight, are you trying to say Collins didn't have a good chin or are you just arguing for the sake of it?

I said he fought "some of the hardest punchers around at the time", which is true, Benn, Eubank and McCallum are very good examples of this I didn't say he fought "lots of power punchers", they are your words not mine.

Let me be the first to say, wtf??

Do you have some sort of chin strength scale that goes from glass to granite?? How does this scale work?Granite is fighters who have been down less than 3 times in their careers but have to have fought more than 3 big punchers. Is this how accurately people are measuring chins these days?

'He had a good chin but wasn't granite', wtf **** does that mean? He either had a hard chin or not.

Froch has a good chin, which can also be described as granite if you wish.

For the record, Collins wins by UD. Outworks froch. Nobody gets knocked down. Messy, scrappy but entertaining.

Eubank dropped Collins in their first fight. Froch could drop Collins although it is unlikely

Collins UD Froch in a hard fought war - good fight for sure

Collins was a very good fighter, but it's unfortunate Benn was past it. His boxing was decent, but he was always to me as a come forward guy that had a great chin, but might of been exposed by a Roy Jones or James Toney. Collins was very good at everything, but not great. He had good speed upstairs, but his legs didn't move as fast as his hands. If he was a big puncher plus the pressure I'd like his chances against Roy or a Toney, but the speed and power of those 2 were just on another level.

Froch vs. Collins might be something close to Froch vs. Kessler I think. Neither would take a step back and it would be a thriller. I don't think neither Collins nor Froch would stop each other and it would go the distance. I might probably give the edge to Collins because of his economical, accurate punching to Froch's relentless, wild swings, but both would connect with Froch probably being the bigger puncher, but Collins landing 2 or 3 punch combinations. Probably a SD win for Collins, but a close fight that could go either ways.
