Why does this fight slipped under the radar and never get brought up to him? or why has he totally forgot about it?

it is like it never happened and it was a shambles of a performance.

the cleveley defeat gets brought up more often than the Bellew defeat it seems. Bellew was 2nd best in every department & was in survival mode from the get go. People laughed out loud when i told them i stayed up to watch Stevenson v Bellew.

People forget that Bellew just completely jumped from British level to world title shots, mainly due to his mouth!

The Stevenson fight was a perfect example when you put a British level fighter in with a world champion

Fair play to Bellew for talking himself into that fight

Bellews pre fight antics were embarrassing, disgusting and down right distastful. Then not a great performance once in the ring. I mean who had he beaten or what had he done to be giving it big time to the world champion Stevenson before hand?

What belts or fights has he won to prove me wrong?

He's beat Ajisafe and McKenzie who are currently the best at British level at present, he's also beat Chilemba and Edison Miranada, surely you aren't saying they are also British level ? Don't get me wrong I ain't saying Tony Bellew was a world level fighter but he also wasn't a British level fighter.

To be fair he was a heavyweight in the amateurs and he always looked really gaunt at light heavy so maybe cruiser is the right place for him.

Both him and clev fought the best in there division so fair play to them both plus there still young so let's see what the future holds...

Whenever it does get mentioned he basically talks Stevenson up as some sort of unstoppable force that anyone would lose to so he doesn't see it as a problem being second best to him. I mean the argument on ringside about kovalev/Stevenson and whose better reminded me of a "my dads harder than yours" argument when you are about 6 lol

I remember when Stevenson started putting a beating on Bellew in about the 3rd round someone shouted in the pub "Come on then ya gobby c**t let's see you go out on your ****in shield" hahaha

Cleverly was a man and took a sustained heavy beating from Kovalev.
Bellew ran around scared shitless and collapsed the first onpoint shot he took from Stevenson.

Even though they were both stopped there's a massive difference in the manner it happened.

Shame as stevenson is very beatable as shown in his last fight. His chin is questionable as is his stamina. I think he will be stopped the moment he fights a puncher

    Bellew is British level.

The guys he beat were just very poor.

Also he lost to Chilemba and somehow gets a draw , then beats Miranda who wasnt that good at middle!!

Cannot throw a straight right hand, no head movement and questionable engine at world level.

Good fun against Cleverley but thats about it.

    peace.
