He's certainly flat footed. A 41 y/o was dancing round him and creating angles that Joshua had no answer to and when he got clipped he looked badly hurt, round 5 he was all over the place. Only his youth saved him from a KO loss in the next couple of rounds. WK got the wrong advice from Banks and let him off the hook.
He's proved to me he is good, probably very good which we pretty much all assumed anyway. Problem being that there isn't much around on the scene at the moment to prove he's any better. Like it or not, a 41 year old Wlad was the current 'man' (Fury isn't active and probably serving a drug ban before you get annoying about it) in that division. AJ can build some kind of legacy I guess but the other current champions really aren't all that themselves. That said, we've seen his vulnerabilities which will in theory mean we have some real exciting matches in the future.
By reading this thread it should be clear how utterly clueless some people are. Wladimir danced circles around him in the ring ? Anthony Joshua has below average mobility ? Anthony Joshua is not a good athlete ? I think the most people on this forum are watching only the smaller weight classes, if you guys would have seen all of his fights, you would know how good he really is. It is tedious to discuss a fighter like Anthony Joshua with guys who don't know anything about boxing.
So you want to judge Anthony Joshua as a fighter due to two rounds where he struggled in a fight where he outboxed Wlad before the 5th and the 6th round and won the fight by beatdown in the 11th round ? And i didn't see Wladimir dancing circles around him in the ring, he was knocked down in the 5th round and came back with a left hook...damn it is tedious.
He didn't outbox him in those rounds and was quite badly rocked in round 3 from my recollection. Fury in 2015 shape is going to play with this bodybuilding robot, no question.
He won the first 5 rounds and i can't remember that he was badly rocked in round 3, show me a video, i don't know what badly rocked is for casuals. By the way, Fury ?...lol
Wow, if you saw Aj fight the same way throughout you are the last person who could say who is and who aren't great. Bud, Aj changed up at least 3 times during those 10.5 rounds. Watch it again, but try paying attention with open eyes. If your conclusion is the same you're beyond hope
He's young still and still can improve his game alot. He showed weaknesses vs Klitscko, mainly being abit to heavy and not having the stamina for a sustained attack.
