Every time a boxer's name starts making noise, there is always 1 jerkoff on ESB talking about how he is getting overrated. I think its jealousy.

thats 19 fighters most would agree rank ahead of martinez. Why? because they have fought and beaten better comp then martinez has. I guess you can have martinez at 20 :yep

but one meanigful fight dosent propel you above guys who have done it more consistantly then you for longer....

give him a few more fights before we start saying hes p4p or somthing:deal

It was a good post until the point where you mention Mayweather? What the hell he has to do with the issue? Of course PW is overrated and SM is underrating... and when you finally get them to fight, you get what usually get when you match two fighters reasonably equal in skills - a close fight. The consequnece is either a) overrating the previously underrated fighter (Martinez) or b) underrating previously overrated fighter (PW). It is really up to you how you see, but here is my take

    a) Martinez is NOT the man at 154lbs, but certainly in top 3
    3) PW is NOT the man at either 154 or 160lbs, probably not even in TOP 5 160lbs based on accomplishment.
