He could have taught you all about prime Tyson being a "face first brawler" too. You're missing out, mate.

No. Because his holding wasnt excessive. If the referee had been doing his job Froch would have been disqualified. Holding is and has always been part of boxing, and Dirrell maybe held for 3 rounds.

However we have seen in England before a fighter be perminently injured because of rabbit punching. That is the disqualifiable offense.

We've been over this. Even Rooney said virtually this was what Tyson was when he left him. Tyson still had something like 13 years left in his career. What dont you understand about this?

Oh and post your scorecard, stop bitching out like you always do.

I already have numerous times. We even had a poll which I won and you lost when you tried to make the same argument. Many commended Dirrell for his performance becuase he was a young inexperienced fighter, Haye was slaughtered with many thinking he actually lost to Valuev. Do I need to pull this back up?

Oh and stop changing the subject, stop being a ***** like Haye when he sees a photo of Vitali and post your scorecard.

Dirrell won but he a ***** boy, he didnt deserve the title after:-

    1. Jumping to the floor when the going gets tough.
    2. Get bodied slammed then instead of taking revenge getting up and running away.
    3. Ducking under Froch's belt line over and over and not saying no homo.
    4. Trying to dance with Froch at the press conference and looking like he need to take a ****. (See Reference Video 1)
    5. Saying to Froch you scared then fighting scared himself.
    6. Getting flinged around 12 rounds straight and responding with one meaningful punch.
    7. Trying to either stay mile away from the fighter or trying to hug him so he dont get hit.
    8. Froch tried to make it a fight by punching the back of his head, but Dirrell still fought soft.
    9. At the end, again goes below Froch's belt line on his knees. Froch being tired took a knee aswell.
    10. Complaining to the referee continuously.
    11. Trying to kiss Froch at the press conference like Mayweather-Marquez. (See Reference Video 1)

It was a close enough fight anyway.

He only fell once. That was when he was throwing a punch. The other 3 times he was either pulled down or body slammed.
Watch the highlight vids. Dirrell landed a bunch of clean effective punches. And he did hurt Froch.
Dirrell maintained effective range for most of the fight. His running is overstated. Watch the 5th round. Thats the distance Dirrell maintained for most of the fight.
Froch was frustrated he couldnt hit Dirrell. Nothing to do with trying to make it a fight.
Being body slammed and hit in the back of the head repeatedly will cause a fighter to do that.

Although he should have realized he wasnt going to get any favors in England and at any moment Ricky Hatton could have come out if the stands with a bat and hit him with it, this is England and in boxing there there is no rules and he should have been told to fight like his back was against the wall.

His holding by the referees standards was excessive. By those same standards, should Dirrell have been disqualified or had further points taken?

    The answer is yes.

The quote from Rooney that you're talking was directly before the Lewis bout. When you said Tyson was a brawler, we were talking about prime Tyson.

Tyson was not in his prime by the time he fought Lewis.

No you haven't. You mention Haye, which was a better performance anyway, but the fact is, Haye broke his hand, so it can't be included as I said "without injury" which is fair enough, given how badly a broke hand will effect a fighter.

So without injury, can you name one?

    120-107.

The referee didnt know what he was doing. One of the worst performances by a referee in boxing. By a good referees standards, Froch is disqualified and Dirrell doesnt have a point taken away. As even Al Berstein who is absolutely impartial stated when the point was taken.
