    HA ok..

Too bad they aren't fighting keyboard warriors, huh?

There's a lot of feather fisted mother ****ers in the game today. That's it and that's all.

It says a lot about the fight game today.

Are you a professional boxer? Or a professional bullshitter?

You would even get chinned by Logan Paul with 16oz gloves on

Compared to most of the division, Tyson Fury does not hit hard.

    It's that simple.

That is a fair comment even though I disagree but using words like "feather fisted" is taking it a bit too far, if you hate the guy that's fine, but your hatred for him doesn't make him a weak puncher

The OP is obviously alluding to Michael ''The Bounty'' Hunter and even if he isn't I'm going to make this a thread about Michael ''The Bounty'' Hunter's power because that's what I do

The Bounty Hunter has floored every HW he's fought since he moved back up from CW with the exception of Povetkin and only one of his opponents during that run other than Povetkin made it to the final bell.

He stopped Kiladze in 5, the same amount of rounds it took Joe Joyce and one round quicker than Kownacki

He stopped the unbeaten, savage punching and streaking Bakole in 10 despite the later being way bigger than him and having over 40lbs on him

He stopped Ustinov in 9 despite the later having over 66lbs on him

He blew right through the 25lbs heavier and never previous stopped Fabio Maldonado in just 2 rounds, the same Maldonado who in his previous 2 fights lasted the distance against Oscar Rivas and Oleksandr Teslenko giving both tough fights

And he dropped the unbeaten and tough Kuzmin hard who had 37lbs on him

Fact is Povetkin is just teak-tough. Getting stopped by the way bigger AJ who had 23lbs on him and 10 years in youth when he was way past his best doesn't mean you aren't tough as nails. And if you watch the finish of that one make sure you pay attention to how many flush bombs in quick succession it took from AJ to drop Povetkin on his ass. IIRC it was about 8 in total and 7 of them after he'd already been hurt good by the first one

AJ dropped the 21lb heavier Ruiz with a solitary left hook (part of a two-punch combo but the left hook was the shot that did all the damage), whereas it took AJ about 8 bombs in quick succession to drop the 23lb lighter and way past prime 39 y/o Povetkin on his ass

The Bounty Hunter would've blitzed an awful lot of HWs (and tough ones at that) with that early assault he hurt Povetkin with and ditto for the 11th round assault too. It completely caught Povetkin by surprise and he displayed an awful lot of toughness and mental fortitude to withstand it and battle back so well from it.

Yeah you are new here, you'll find people throwing around words like that hear... for example "Whyte has no chin" despite taking 1000 power shots from AJ before hitting the canvas... where just one punch would have most of us seeing little stars

To get out point across in this forum, we need to drive it home with powerful language... here is a few examples and translations.

    Wilder sucks arse!

Translation: I am disappointing with the way Wilder has been conducting himself as a professional boxer

Usyk would get whooped by the top three, he is too small!

Translation: Usyk is a very capable boxer who oozes talent however size does matter, and his frame although big by societal standards is just not enough to be competitive against the top who carry too much power and strength.

This is a weird hill to die on. :dunno

Saying that some boxers are feather-fists relative to most other pro boxers shouldn't be considered disrespectful, or something that you'd only "keyboard warriors" say. That logic doesn't really jive. That's like whining about somebody evaluating, say, Dennis Rodman's jump shot and saying it wasn't as technically perfect as Ray Allen's, ranting and raving that Rodman would beat said fan in a game of pickup on the neighborhood court and shoot a much higher percentage of jumpers. Like...yes, of course he would. Nobody is calling any boxer a feather-fist in terms of "they wouldn't lay out an ordinary Joe in a fight". Whenever that is said, the obvious implicit context is relative to most other boxers. Weird that you don't get that.
