So much potential, yet failed so hard.

My eyes hurt after that. Felt like a mismatch in early MMA. Reem sweeped all three rounds but its not going to do much for him.

After watching that, Cain would dump him and splatter him, and can do it for 5 rounds.

Having trouble submitting Rogers? FAILING miserably to submit Gilbet Ivel after having the mount for more then 10 minutes and doing almost no damage? Call me crazy but I'm woefully underwhelmed.

Werdum landed more strikes. Who would have thunk it? Overeem did nothing other than overpower a BJJ guy with 0 takedown ability. A strong wrestler gets him to the ground and holds him there. A guy like Cain would beat the hell out of him there.

Ok at least he moves on. Overeem vs Big Foot should be a better match up

Wow. That was the worst fight that I've seen this year.

It's taken since 2005 but I have now officially lost interest in Heavyweights

Silva is going to wear out Overeem and KHTFO.

Yeah Werdum throwing more than Overeem I had down as pretty much not going to happen. Not a great showing from Overeem at all just adds more questions to his performances really.

Overeem was dead at the end....

falling in love with his power wayyy too much. A wins a win but he won it pretty much purely on his physical strength while being completely out thought.

Maybe a lot of hesitation and anxiety to fight Werdums fight on Reems part. I don't think many guys would have tried to pound Werdum out after watching him bait and sub Fedor. But at the same time, Reem was overly hesitant and cautious to pull the trigger anywhere. His stamina doesn't seem to be on the level of other big heavies either.
