Werdum was definitely more effective. He legitimately had Reem in trouble.

The people saying Reem had the more effective punches are saying that simply because of his reputation as a power puncher and thus counting every grazing shot as brutal. He did **** all really

The 1st and 3rd gifs are from the 2nd round, the only round I thought Overeem had won. Overeem lands a couple good shots in the 1st, but I'm not sure whether or not the knee landed in the 3rd. Again, they're both from a round I thought Overeem may have won.

The 2nd gif is from the 1st round. I thought the hook landed when I watched the round live, but I thought Werdum went down to lure Overeem in. On the replay, from the other angle, it looked like that hook was blocked. I gave the 1st round to Werdum.

 

The biggest problem in that fight is that we don't know if any shot hurt Werdum...he was always falling on the ground anyway. Maybe if we check the fight over and over again it would become more evident, but not by watching that fight live !


That fight was so ****in weird and unstatisfying.... !

we all waited a really long time for.....this !

 

I'm sorry, but I can't be bothered to sit through that **** again. I thought Werdum won, but he made that fight a lot uglier than it had to be.
