He isn't selling a PPV off of it.

There is a championship main event. No1 eliminator and numerous good match ups.

Dude man that's a bit semantic. Fact is its a freakshow bout that has NO PLACE in modern MMA. Dana said he's totally against freak show bouts but then he has Toney Couture headlining?

It's a freakshow but an interesting one. Boxing is an element of MMA. If Toney chooses just to box then that is his call but he has had about a 8-12 months of training. Brock only has a wrestling background and a year of training but he improved rapidly because he dedicated himself. What Brock did is not common or easy but Toney is a talented fighter. Old and fat is his problem. If he was young and dedicated I think he could do well.

I like the odd freakshow in MMA. For me its like watching a celebrity football match. I often enjoy watching a celebrity football match more than a 2 low divisions team face off.

He looks like he realises he got a little carried away.

I'm not sure Batista will get sanctioned, his age and history of injuries added to his lack of training and competition could cause a few doubts with a state commission.

And then immediately wondered how much he had in the bank to cover things when he got fired soon after.

Attention: everyone. Stop calling Couture-Toney a freak show. Thank you.

This is coming from someone who is in general disdainful of the product that UFC has put out over the last several years, too.
