He sparred nader once. Jerkic twice, but got touched up and didnt like it. His regulars were McCulloch and Bika. Ill tell you that mcculloch is good sparring, the problem with him is the opponents they have fed him. Bika is always good sparring. 10 days works well. Finish sparring in Aus, finish hard training before plane trip. Rest and sleep on the plane. Peak and stay sharp for 7 days, rest for 3, easy. Using this time frame allows camps to control prep and sparring, as when you travel, youre basically at the mercy of whats available.
Its money that prevents him from staying longer in germany, he only gets paid for x amount of days accomidation, food expenses etc, the same thing happen to Hamdan when he fought Abraham, its done on purpose so that the international fighter dont have time to climatize. 2 weeks min is whats required, 3 to 4 weeks is ideal but like i said it all comes down to money and whos backing the guy with said funds. Who touched him up in sparring?
No, the offer was there to go over earlier. Geale touched up Jerkic. **** that Jerkic kid is arrogant.
not enough experiance to mix it with Geale and thinks he is better than he really is which comes from fighting bums over and over again. Geales people must know something that i dont, i always thought the more time you were in another country the better chances you had to climatize etc.
ah so they are doing the exact same thing as the last time? sounds good to me if this is the case. I guess everyone is diffrent and if they have it all worked out then go for it, dont change a thing. Hope he busts Felix up big time, am rooting for a KO and i think its VERY possible.
Ko would be nice, but Geale wins his fights with work rate, angles and technique. The only way i could see a stoppage is if he does what he did to Karmizen
If Javier Castillejo could stop Felix i think Geale has a pretty good chance, especially if Felix gets tired towards the later rounds.
Geale is paying $7 to win by KO and $3 to win by dec on centrebet for anyone interested in having a punt. I'm going to back Gealey by decision but i might have something on a late rd stoppage as well,he's paying $41 to win by ko in rds 10,11,and 12:good Go Gealey!
hmm very tempting, i much prefer betting head to head but has to be good odds. Might see if i can make up what i lost on Go Cart.
Not read all the posts but will do.Fairly new to the forum, just discovered the Australian section. From GB will watch Daniel Geales shot on Boxnation this weekend. We had 2 boxers in Matt Macklin and Martin Murray try and i believe a case could be made for either winning.Sturm looked fairly good in his last one but saw Geale in his last couple and i think he can pull it off,or at worst lose a dodgy decision.I doubt Felix has come across anybody as fast or slippery This I think could set up a unification between Geale and Golovkin ,a terrific fighter who will beat Proksa,im sure.Come on Daniel.
