Stylistically Margarito would of destroyed Mayweather makes so much sense he did not fight him

We do know Floyd was unbeaten and unbeatable in his time and he beat guys who destroyed Margarito. As Floyd would say there are at least 8 ways to beat Margarito. That is fact baby not fiction. I don’t suck dick thank you very much but you seem to know a lot about dick sucking. To each their own.

 

Unbeaten... funny how that fails to get mentioned a lot. Also, funny how there are a number of examples of Floyd beating more skilled pressure fighters but forget all that.

Also, a number of examples of Margo not beating high level opposition but forget that as well also.

I can admit that Margo's size, strength and chin makes it interesting for a few rounds as it did with Manny but that is where it ends. And when he lost to elite guys, he lost in a big way.

Against Miguel, in both fights, he was getting totally tee'd off on. The only way he saw fit to neutralize Miguel was to cheat and he tried the same crap for the Mosley fight. That should tell everyone how much faith he had in his skills that he brought to a fight against that caliber of opponent.

You keep on naming fighters more skilled than Margarito as if its proof that's the bottom line to everything when in fact
I believe you've admitted that yes, a lesser skilled fighter can beat a fighter with more skill because of the various factors and
variables we've both discussed.
We've established that but yet you keep on harping on the same issues of that premise as if not a word has been spoken about it.


Having read your post that I'm responded to you now, its clear to me that your hate of Margarito comes from your thought process that he's a cheater.
I mean really look at yourself??? I write out an intelligent post with various credible ideas and comparisons of the various fighters strenghths and weaknesses...…...and you respond with, "Margarito is a cheater cheater pumpkin eater!"

Listen my friend you have an obvious bias in this debate and it showed when you starting name calling Margarito and calling him a cheat in a variety of ways. Theres a hate there and such a hate usually stems from the subject having beatdown someone favorite fighter.

1. I would suggest you do your homework on what really transpired with Margarito and the handwrap issue for which he was suspended for. That whole issue isn't so cut and dry as you have written it out to be.

Margarito was a beast at 147 which is about the time Mayweather shat his pants when Margarito confronted him and asked him why he would'nt fight him.

At 147 lbs, Margarito beat many a fighters who were well beyond more skilled than he was. I would suggest you watch some of those fights to educate yourself on just how big a beast Margarito was.

I would recommend you start with watching Margarito beat a prime Joshua Clottey.
Clottey went on to have several more exellent fights after his loss to Margarito at 147 lbs, even beating Miguel Cotto a year after Cotto lost to Margarito. Cotto was given the decision against Cotto, but on my card I had him winning and so did many others in this very same forum.
Margarito was'nt beating bums is what I'm saying, he was beating highly rated welterweights.

Also check out Margarito's fight with Sergio Martinez who was the first fighter to beat and stop Sergio.
Note on Sergio Martinez, when the whole controversy of Margarito allegedly loading his wraps first surfaced, past fighters who had lost to Margarito got on the bandwagon and made excuses for their loss to Margarito, notably Miguel Cotto and Kermit Cintron.
When Sergio Martinez was asked about it, Martinez stated, "I didn't feel anything unusual in his punches, he just outright beat me I have no excuses." Now that my friend is what I call class!!!

The Williams fight if I'm managing Margarito is probably a fight I would have stayed away from simply because what made Margarito dangerous as a welterweight was his height, reach, and size advantage. Margarito was accustomed to being the taller/bigger fighter.
In the ring Margarito dwarfed Williams. Williams was the bigger fighter and it showed in the early rounds, but as usual watch the fight get closer and closer as the rounds go by.
Two judgers scored it 115-113, the third judge had it 116-112.
A very close fight in the eyes of at least two of the 3 judges.

I would suggest you educate yourself and watch the fights I just mentioned.
By the time Margarito beat Cotto, he was already having issues making the 147 lbs limit even for Cotto and he had major issues staying on weight that were not a secret to anyone in the leadup to his loss to Mosley.

If all you've watched is Margarito fights post Cotto, then you know nothing about Margarito the fighter.
After his suspension when he fought Pacquiao, Pacquiao breaking his orbital bone and leaving him blind in that eye was the end of anything resembling even a formidable fighter.
By then Margarito could no longer make 147 lbs where he was a beast, and he was having issues even making 154 lbs when he had to make 150 lbs to get paid for the Pacquiao fight.

PimpC knows all about Margarito the Beast at 147 lbs but is such a Mayweather nut clinger he choses to ignore Margarito's fights pre-Mosley. You Olu may just need an education of Margarito the fighter at 147 lbs.

 

The only cheaters in the Marg - Steroid Shane fight were Mosely Juiced to the gills & that lying POS Richardson. Plus the CSAC acting like the Keystone Kops

Yeah I agree with you. Margarito is nowhere close to Floyd's level. In the past, I remember once Margarito was called "the most feared man or the most avoided man in boxing." For me, that's just one of the biggest hypes in boxing. After Margarito got exposed by Mosley, we all knew that he was extremely overrated.

 

What this argument lacks is proof! Where did you see Void put all your theory to the test. He didn't because he didn't fight margarito. He was ducking him. Now that's real talk! because he knew it would be a tough fight.
