SRL by UD as long as he doesn't try to exchange, his feet are way to fast to get caught against the ropes by Canelo.

 

I don't think Canelo's style fits that mold. He's not a high energy fighter that moves a lot. He sets traps and counters very well. That's his strength. Actually, I could see Hagler tiring Canelo out with an aggressive style at times mixed in with some boxing, always weary of the counter shot he might not see coming. He probably tries to use his size advantage as well.

 

You really don’t think Leonard can beat Canelo? Floyd did easily. Leonard is better than Floyd and bigger, and far far more powerful.

 

SRL is nowhere near as good as Mayweather.
And Mayweather beat a smaller and less experienced Canelo than the current one.
And Leonard is anything but strong. His skinny spaghetti looking hands don't pack much punching power.

And SRL doesn't have a bigger frame, he was skinny af.
Hearns wasn't a natural WW. He's a very tall man and his body frame allows him to put on far more meat on his bones.
His best weight is at MW/SMW.

SRL is a giant compared to Mayweather though.
Canelo had 43 fights and was a unified champion when he met Floyd.

SRL and Canelo's KO ratio is virtually identical.

 

SRL is 5'10.
Canelo is 5'8.

SRL is naturally the bigger man, so if both men are the same actual weight, he would look skinnier.
