I don`t know the answer to your first question as for the second maybe Bud wins 2 or 3 rounds.Regarding your original comment on this subject just look at the poll result to see what a ridiculous statement it was
I don`t understand why Leonard is so overrated, he got caught with a lot of shots during his career, he didn`t really slip and block many shots just used movement to avoid trading, I don`t think those tactics would work v Bud who has the longer reach and is quicker than Hagler was.
Benitez v Hearns was a better scientific display of boxing than any fight Bud has been in and Duran out-boxed a bigger welter who was one of the most dangerous fighters of that era by going toe to toe, the Montreal fight was an amazing performance by Duran.
This a crazy question, Crawford would be in serious, serious danger of being stopped by Ray Leonard. There's absolutely no way he'd stop Ray, Ray had a significant advantage of hand and foot speed, power, chin, he was more fluid. I mean.......let's be completely honest. I can't envision a scenario where Crawford beats him Disclaimer: I'm a huge Crawford fan so I'm not hating.
Even if Leonard is overrated, Crawford has never been tested because his resume is based on washed up or average fighters
Leonard beat, Duran, Hagler, Hearns and Benitez. All are arguable at or above Crawfords level. As much as I like Crawford, there isn't anyone within a light year close to Leonard on his resume. Do I think Crawford aquits himself well against Leonard, yes, but I cannot say he beats a prime SRL. His resume doesn't support that claim. Just for the record, I like TC much more than SRL. Facts are facts.
P4P is irrelevant here. Bud and Spence are in the same weight class. Only way to see who is better is to watch them duke it out.
Bud has a much longer reach than Duran had, he`s quicker than Hagler was and a better finisher than Benitez.
Agreed! We know how SRL performed against guys as good, more accomplished than Bud. We can't say the same about Bud. You make valid points about Bud, I just use a different way to judge these hypothetical match ups. Not saying you're wrong.
