We all know his last official fight was his loss to Camacho but did he actually step into the ring one more time? I read somewhere that Leonard still wasn't convinced he was through even after being trounced by Camacho and decided to test the waters one more time. The rumour was he took part in an unofficial gym fight with a referee and judges,just minus the crowd and sanctioning.Much as he did when he was preparing to face Hagler. Apparently Leonard got whipped again and lost by a middle rounds stoppage which finally convinced him he was done once and for all. Is this rumour true? And if so does anyone know who the fighter was that whipped him?
I've read this too, not sure how true it is. I'm sure someone here will know something more about it.
