We agree on the chin, as Rahman has no chin, I'll also give Liston better stamina.

Compare the two in video, very similiar attibutes and execution, only Rahman is fighting steeper competition and Liston fighting out of an era that was just starting to evolve further.

Would Liston be as good a ring general against Lewis? He sure was awful against Ali, something like Rahman would be also against a quick mover.

 

Yes, Liston can starch him, thus why I said 'heavy favourite' and not 'definite'.

Now, Tyson, is a definite over Liston, I also say the same for Holmes, Bowe and Holyfield.

I'd say Lewis has a superior jab and obviously superior handspeed. Kessler had a more punishing, stiff jab than Calzaghe but was beaten to the jab by Calzaghe's quicker and snappier jab. Not the best comparison, but Lewis beats him to the jab badly, Liston leans too much and sometimes drops it, Lewis is technically the most sound in skill, had Lewis had a great chin, he'd be the best H2H.

No I'm completely serious, Marciano, from what I have analysed on film, is ****ing terrible. Always open, bad footwork, bad punching technique, slow/plodding. I'm also considering that he's a 185 pound man, going in against a 240+ pounder.

Bowe and Lewis is a toss up(I favour Lewis), Holmes and Lewis is a toss up but I favour Lewis.

Who else? Anyone further back is irrelevant when talking H2H against modern greats and the rest of the guys like Wlad and Vitali just aren't good enough to beat Lewis.
