I wouldnt exactly call it ducking. Shane said even before he beat Estrada he needed another Welterweight tuneup as he wasnt fully adjusted to being back at that weight and with a new trainer John David Jackson. Margarito had beaten Cintron the same night and yeah their was a offer that Shane turned down. But im not sure how that makes it ducking when Shane made his plans clear before the Estrada fight. Margarito had other options like fighting Collazo or Judah the Champions at 147.

I believe they Margo refused a fight with Mosley years ago because he wasnt so called ready and Mosley did turn down a fight 2-3 years ago against Margo ,so i believe they both did.yes

Im not a Margo fan and yes Margo should settle the score but dont give me that **** that PW settled his score with Quintana cause last time i checked they are 1 and 1.Quintana schooled the **** outta him the 1st fight and then PW(claims that he had an off night,lol) and then he come back and k.o him in 1rd catching Quintana(he also had an off night,lol) cold.So lets say PW does beat Margo then he would have to settle with Quintana to claim to be the best welter,plus take on the like of Cotto,Clottey AND Berto if you wanna go in depth.

 

Yeah Margaritos team turned the Mosley fight down back in 01 which is fine because Margarito really hadnt established anything yet so its not ducking just like Mosley who wanted to readjust to Welterweight and asked for another tuneup. Neither of these guys would ever duck each other.
