Great fight however Mosley gassed out against COtto in the later rounds and could not take him out.

Shane is a good sparring partner for top welter and junior middleweights.

Mosley should beat Margo then rematch and beat Cotto and then retire one of the greatest WWs of all time.

First of all Cotto doesn't TALK ****. And Mayweather is retired, Mayweather wants to fight either of them he would have come back from retirement already. They don't have to call him out while he's retired floydtard.

Shane's quicker & fights better off the back foot than Cotto. I think he'd have a good chance of out boxing him if he used the right tactics

that is just beyond ridiculous, sugar shane even if he was 47 would still be able to hold his own against margarito

As a Shane fan who is worried about his health I don't want to see it but as a fight fan I wouldn't mind seeing it.

mosley is too old to keep up with margarito he will look good early and then get taken late just like cotto !

Mosley however is an awesome body puncher if he attacks the body early and often he might be able to break margaritos skinny frame down but hey if cotto wasn't able to get his attack off to the body i don't know if shane can...

It's a common misconception that Margo has a skinny frame because of his height. He actually has a larger chest and shoulders than Cotto and the same neck, biceps and waist measurements, only smaller in the thighs.

People noted that Cotto made Mosley look like a little boy in that fight in terms of physique.

Exactly my feelings. It would be a hell of a fight, but Shane's legacy is secure. He has nothing left to prove and he's taken quite a few hard shots in his 15-year pro career, had a lot of hard fights.
Plus all the gym wars he's had and between 200 and 300 amateur fights.

I don't like to see him in there with a punisher like Margarito, Margarito can fight plenty of other guys.

But i'm afraid it looks like Mosley's fighting pride will push him too far, like many greats of the past.

That would be a tremendous fight and there's no doubt in my mind none would avoid this... Just that I don't agree with the assumption that Shane fights the same way Tony does. Shane looked mostly to load up on Miguel with that overhand right ( one punch at a time) whereas Tony would punch to the body and to the head in continuous style. I do see a differential in speed, ability and boxing know-how in favour of Shane Mosley but I can't see how can he knock Margo out... Remember Miguel A Cotto punches harder than Shane and almost as fast and Tony didn't take a step back. So where are we at? Mosley will run those numbers and back away swift and hold on to the mental and physical asphyxiating pressure?...
