    Alot of the time, though, these bouts would take place later on in the day or week, at a more discreet location, usually held in private. Thats why alot of the records are so sketchy today, because alot of the reputation of these fighting men went by word of mouth, rather than by the press. Mace, and several others, often fought in private and had more bouts than what their records indicate.

    Yep Bowe Golota was a thown back to the good old days. We need more fights like that.

    It even included a good, large scale riot. In every way a throwback. :yep

    All that was missing was the trainers useing whips to try to keep the crowd in order.(It made things worse, but hey)
