Fair enough. I think a lot of boxing fans just look at the punching skills of mma fighters (which are clearly inferior to boxing) without looking at the whole picture. The punching aspect is only about 25 % of what these fighters do. Have you seen guys like Fedor, Anderson Silva, Jon Jones, jacare Souza, Roger Gracie fight ? Can you honestly say that these guys are not incredibly skilful dangerous fighters ?
There's a couple of guys who post here that could be described as 'mult-faceted' Stiffy - that's why some polls show such surprising results.
Francis, I challenge you to find any post of mine when I have questioned the skill or dangerousness of MMA fighters. I am interested in watching toe to toe action not **** to ass action which is what the majority of MMA is! Your down with that gay ****, I am not! It is simply a matter of taste!
Not really a fan of MMA at all but some MMA fighters have some serious mad skills & are awesome at their craft. Jon Jones...Jose Aldo...Anderson Silva...GSP have all been insane to me in recent times.
I certainly appreciate their skills and don't mind watching it. But for mine, the best parts of MMA are when they're on their feet, fighting. Give me a great boxing fight over a great MMA fight any day of the week. There's a lot more drama in 12 rounds IMO.

Francis, much like Ash, you are clearly a very simplistic man with limited intellectual means! Since when does the mere expressing of a blunt opinion equate to hate? I am of the opinion that synchronished swimming (like MMA) is a shithouse sport but I do not hate it! I think Kevin Rudd is a complete ****ing docuhe bag but I do not hate him etc, etc, etc. I know this will be tough for you to grasp the basic concept that having an opposing view does not equal hate. As for wasting energy, pumping out a 30 second response to your "MMA rules" dribble is not exactly taxing for me. If our exchange is taking so much out of you I suggest you get your ass away from the keyboard and down to the gym!
