Good fight for Sunny given absolutely nobody is stepping up to face him for the British title. Be interesting to see how quickly people step forward to fight for it when he vacates....
Of course he could of been exaggerating but Edwards said he will keep his British title even if he's a World Champ. I hope he does tbh, the fact nobody is willing to fight him but there will be a queue of fighters lining up if it's vacated is pathetic.
Mthalane is one of the more underrated champs in boxing, if he is on form, he easily beats Edwards. But he is 38 now, so it is a fight worth taking as the wheels could be falling off.

Who do you guys see winning this one? I remember Sunny's older brother Charlie was going to fight Mthalane but fought Rosales instead. Edwards has been a lot more active than Mthalane, who is 38 and approaching the end of his career. However, he is heavy handed, and Edwards has been knocked down in several fights previously, including against Marcel Braithwaite and Junior Granados. I can see Edwards winning on points or Mthalane stopping Sunny. The bookies currently have Mthalane a slight favourite.
I fancy Edwards in this one. Mthalane’ s age will be a factor and even though he’s heavy handed, Sunny should be able to move for 12 rounds and box to a decision win. Sunny is a lot better defensively than his brother.
