Excellent stoppage. Sunny had nothing to offer in return and was just getting picked apart.
The ref gave him several warnings too.
Corner should have stepped in.

 

Very sad performance from Sunny. I can’t help but feel he has spread himself too thin with managing and training rather than focussing on his own career.

 

Total and utter domination job tonight.

 

Yafai had no respect for Edwards punches. He just walked in without any fear of eating something

 

@CST80 spot on bruva, I will eat my crow, sunny got outclassed from minute one and beat the sprit out of sunny so quickly.

I think sunny got so upset because he never thought someone would outclass him so easily.

 

That was as bad a beating as Bam gave him, maybe not as bad actually since Bam put his arse down a few times but almost as bad.

 

Somewhat of a British stoppage but I guess what is the ref supposed to do when Edwards spent a minute on the rope getting pummelled. Edward's post fight interview will be interesting; did he have a problem going into the fight or did Yafai just beat the heart out of him?

 

And not only that, he also had an easy time evading most of what Edwards threw at him.
This was completely one sided, as if they were leagues apart.

 

Sunny’s slickness amulet was stolen before this fight.

 

It was an early stoppage but no complaint when Edward wasn't there to fight. Saved us from another 6 rnds of crap

 

That was just tragic. I feel sad after watching that. Sunny just seemed totally out of it.
