So if Kessler and Ward win, Froch and Abraham are guarenteed a place in the next round.

Seems a bit unfair on Dirrell as Kessler, Abraham and Ward all got a gimme agaisnt Taylor/Green.

I'm with Rob on this, the Super six is awesome. I wouldn't have got to go to Denmark and wouldn't have a trip to Monte Carlo organised otherwise :bbb

Shame it isn't in the British media, but if the Sky rumours are true that will all change. Sky = only outlet to British boxing mainstream

Is that the bottom line? I was trying to follow the rules last night in work but kept getting sidetracked (by work admittedly!)

If Dirrell hadn't fought like a wuss he'd have beaten Froch and the issue would be moot - or rather, it would be unfair on Froch.

I'm surprised we've not heard any whining to that effect.... maybe he's still twitching?

If Ward wins then Dirrell has lost 2 out of 3 fights and won one by DQ. Hard to have too much sympathy for him not qualifying.

    its the bottom line.

to be fair he and froch had tough competition than ward, kessler and abraham.

It's taking a while, but at least they are all fighting. In principle it's a good idea and it's been a success because we are getting top fights that were unlikely to happen otherwise.

if it involved only two promoters than it would have paved more smoothly.
