Now i know he wasn't exactly mr humility after the loss to sugar ray leonard but i always just got the impression that Marvin Hagler never forgot where he came from, and he certainly didn't seem to have a big ego. Anyone ever met the guy to get an impression of him? Sage
"Mistaken!" It is a bull**** facade. No one becomes a legend in boxing (or anything else) by being truly humble. In their heads none of the great ones are humble for a second. - Jason
I've been extremely impressed with Manny Pacquiao. He is a man deeply humbled by his lofty positioning in life. There's something spiritual about that guy. He's huge.
Cotto may be soft spoken, but he refers to himself in the third person during interviews and speaks of "Miguel Cotto" like it's a corporation. He's also one of the cockiest fighters in the ring in all boxing.
