Thanks. Nothing in that interview suggests he wants or doesn't want to fight Diaconu. He mentioned Jones, Tarver and ... CALZAGHE!!!...Said he was interested in big fights. Said he can still make 168! Very interesting!!!

No but he did say he wanted to fight two more times after Johnson. I doubt Dawson can fight Roy Jones Jr. and and Antonio Tarver in the same year. Besides if he drops his belt and avoids Diaconu, that would make Dawson look bad, and the other top LHW's would look down on him, it would also give Diaconu more recognition. But Dawson has said he will fight three times this year, if thats possible. I'm assuming he will fight Diaconu in July and maybe Tarver or Roy Jones Jr. in November.
