Lewis was a couple of months away from 38, you **** sucking ****** anyone can play this game ... and old one eye is 41, not 42
Like I've said before Vittles is way past his sell by date but at least he still is the champion of sorts and beating better fighters than a certain ATG fighter was getting retired by
Sooooooooooo Vitaly was prime while having to retire for four years? Is that what you're saying. If Vitsly was in his prime why did he retire? Was it injuries? In which case how was he prime? Or Are you saying a prime Vitaly had to stop fighting for 4 years until Rahman was old and shot? Which is it man?
Yes. A real problem with Lewis IMO is that he was often over confident and under prepared. One of the things that IMO was a good and bad thing. Against "underdogs", he was prone to be under prepared, almost like he thought he could roll in from the pub and beat the other guy. A good thing because you could drop him in against any fighter in the history of the world, and he'd genuinely believe he was going to win. I don't think you'd ever see a scared or timid performance from Lewis.
:rofl so now according to the gospel of Klit haters Vitali was scared into retirement by the dreaded Rahman. The same Rahman who lost every time he stepped up bar Lewis. The same Rahman who was punched around the ring by John Ruiz.
so Lewis was like 6-7 month older then Wladimir right now lol and he was old and shot? Wladimir looks absolute prime right now. No big HW is old at 37 these days. Vitaly retired that bum in his prime or very close to his prime, and Vitaly was pretty green at the time. There goes another myth that Lewis was old and Vitaly was prime.
It's about as logical as Vitaly still being prime evev though he 'had' to retire for what, 4 years. And I thought that if you retired rather than face the guy the WBC wanted you to fight, it meant that guy retired you? Or does that only apply in some cases?
Every case is different Lewis was thinking about retirement as soon as the Rahman fights ... even Tyson said that if he had gotten the 2 or 3 fights he needed to prepare for Lewis he wouldn't have waited and would've retired. Vitali was looking amazing to you dickriders his last fight ... and now he's suddenly too old to fight Haye but is still a great champ at the age of 41. GTFO with your ***gotry Vitali is nothing but a PED abusing fraud who made his name from LOSING the biggest fight of his career where he tried to ambush Lewis by preparing a year to fight him (his own words) while Lewis showed up in the worst condition of his career. That jab jab grab jackoff **** only works in this **** poor era.
Vitali is no where near his best and to be honest I wouldnt like to say when Vitalis prime years were. The thing regarding Vittles is he has been very consistent. Plus Vitali went through some bad injuries which co insided with the Rahman fight hardly Rahman retireing him. Lewis beat Vitali said he'd rematch him and then retired, I would bet my life that prior to the Vitali fight Lewis had plans on carrying on.
The fact you like to ignore is Lewis fought a much tougher caliber of opponents over career than Wlad. If he had to fight Wlads resume he's be undefeated and probably still be champion. You always seem to ignore the fact that the toughter the fights the more wear and tear a fighter amasses. And your lame theory that no fighter is old these days is just ridiculous. How's Adamek, JC Gomez, O'Quendo, Guinn, Rahman, Briggs, Harrison, Fields, DaVarryl Williamson, Liakhivich and even Taras Bydenko looking these days? All of them are ****, so there goes you myth that fighters aren't old at 37. And get the **** outta here with that "Vitaly was green" bull****. He was 31 going into his 34th fight and had already won and lost a title. Of course you won't answer this because I so continuesly owned you you've put me on ignore. If any other Klitard would like to step up to the plate and argue this with me, feel free. These forums bring me no greater joy than taking you ladies to school.
I stopped reading after "Lewis was thinking about retirement as soon as the Rahman fights" Lewis said many times in interviews how he planned to fight on even after Tyson fight. Lewis himself said he was like fine wine. He was going to fight RJJ and give Tyson a rematch. Wanted to fight Kirk Johnson right after Vitaly too. There was an interview published on ESB where Lewis was talking about his upcoming fights. I'll paste a link here when I find it.
