Even if what you say is true, and the thumb connected, the knuckle portion of the glove connected on the eyebrow as well. The only thing that can be established in that case is that a punch caused the cut since instant replay isn't in effect and since it would be impossible to determine which point of contact was the cause of the laceration. Therefore the zult must be TKO 6 since the scoring portion of the glove did connect with the injured region. Of course, that's if you subscribe to the notion that the thumb connected with VK's eye first.
